It is quite easy to open a WhatsApp business account. You can follow the steps below to create your business’s WhatsApp account:
Download the WhatsApp Business app: First of all, you need to download the WhatsApp Business app to your phone for the business account. This app is designed for you to manage your business account and interact with your customers.
Verify your phone number: After opening the WhatsApp Business app, you will be asked to verify it by entering your business phone number. A verification code will be sent to you to verify your phone number.
Create your business profile: Add your business name, address, description and profile photo to create your WhatsApp Business account profile. This information will help your customers learn more about your business.
Create a contact list: To be able to communicate with your customers in your WhatsApp Business account, you need to create a contact list. You can use your phone’s contacts to create a contact list, or you can let your customers send you messages.
Interact with your customers: After you create a contact list, you can interact with your customers. Many tools are available in your WhatsApp Business account, such as messages, automatic replies, and interactive menus. With these tools, you can communicate with your customers faster and easier.
After you create your WhatsApp Business account, it’s important to respond to your messages quickly and accurately to interact with your customers. Also, don’t forget to take the necessary precautions for the security of your business account.
If you want to close your WhatsApp business account, you can follow the steps below:
Open the WhatsApp Business app.
Tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner and select Settings.
On the Settings page, tap the Account option.
On the account page, tap Delete Account.
On the account deletion screen, verify your phone number and tap the Delete button.
Select your reason for deleting your account and tap on the Delete button to continue.
Confirm once again to make sure all data of your account will be deleted.
Note: If you delete your account, all your data will be permanently deleted, including your message history, media and other account information. This action cannot be undone.
After account deletion, your phone number associated with your business account can be reused as a WhatsApp account. However, you must wait 30 days after account closure for it to be re-registered as a business account.
